Profil
We are looking for an ideal candidate
- Bachelor degree in audiovisual communication or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Audiovisual project management (concept, planning, budget, external contractors, postproduction workflow…)
- Desirable: experience at a picture desk of a major publication or equivalent is an asset)
- Desirable: experience in photography and filming abroad in hostile environments

- Professional skills in audiovisual production and storytelling
- Strong photography culture

- Creativity, curiosity, a sense of initiative
- Knowledge of the international broadcasts standards
- A good judgment of ethical aspects of communication, copyright and legal aspect

Description
Context
The Creative Content Team (CCT) is group of international audiovisual and digital experts within the communications department based in Brussels and working for OCB (Operational Center Brussels). The CCT produced, commission and advise on everything related with video, photo and digital content needed for the operational communications in OCB.
The Multimedia project manager works within the operational communication Unit (ComBO), in the Creative Content Team (CCT) and reports to the Creative Content Team Leader. It’s a full time position (37,5 hour/week) based in Brussels.
The Multimedia project manager will act as a polyvalent player in the team working mainly on video executive production but also supporting photo production.
This person must be able to organize and oversee executive production of audiovisual projects from the definition of the concept to the distribution strategy; including research, proposal, budget definition, but also filming and post-production to insure high quality production.
The Multimedia project manager will also support the Photo Advisor and cover for him when needed. He/she works on selecting photos, helping with photo material, diffusion, and packaging in order to promote the photo production internally and externally. He/She also assists with the management of photo database.
Job Profile
MULTIMEDIA PROJECT MANAGEMENT (70%)
- Creative and/or Executive Producer on audiovisual and multimedia content
- Translate in audiovisual concepts the communication strategies of Communication Advisors
- Manage contracts and collaborations of external cameramen, film crews or agencies
- Develop and maintain a network a network of high quality external collaborators
- When relevant, film and/or edit MSF footage and multimedia productions
PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCTION (30%)
- Supporting photo production and cover for Photo Advisor
- Select pictures for internal and external publications
- Upload selected pics on the international media database and insure high quality captions
- Provide support and advise MSF field staff and partner sections
- Maintain a network of quality photographers and contract them occasionally
- Maintain a photo database of key MSF spokespeople in the field and HQ
