Description
CONTEXT
Nutrition is part of the core activities of MSF. It is a transversal topic and our focus is not just for our malnourished patients but for every one of our patients and many of our patient’s caretakers too. We must also continue to improve the medical management of complicated acute malnutrition in order to adapt our practice and training of medical staff. We will also keep putting focus on the importance of the community aspect of nutritional support, striving for new and innovative ways to reach populations in need in a sustainable way. Introduction of nutrition care in other hospital departments (surgery, ICU…) needs continual support and evaluation.
