You will join an Enabel project or one of the 28 partner Belgian NGOs and actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Despite economic progress, Tanzania faces significant challenges due to rapid population growth, climate change and the impact of Covid-19, which affect social services, particularly for women and children in rural areas. Plan International's Tanzania Country Strategy aims to improve protection for girls from child marriage through gender-transformative programs focused on education, sexual and reproductive health and protection from violence. The action implemented by Plan International, KIVULINI and the Women's Promotion Centre will target 25 communities in Kigoma Region. It aims to promote a culture of protection, improve access to SRHR services and empower young women and girls socially and economically.
The job focuses on empowering girls and young women in Kigoma through access to vocational training, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.
