Skills
- You have a Master Degree in marketing or equivalent by experience
- You have minimum 8 years’ experience in a fundraising environment and sound knowledge of fundraising best practices and legislation
- You have a significant experience in individual donor programs (customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies) (> 8 years)
- You have a good understanding of the role of communications and marketing in fundraising
- You have a proven experience in people management
- You are able to manage workload, deadlines and budgets
- You have a networking and relationship building expertise.
- You are able to use and understand CRM (databases)
- You are comfortable with numbers and have good analytics skills
- You have a strong sense of initiative and you are open to innovation
- You are fluent in Dutch and French and you have a good command of English
- You are passionate about the future of our Planet & about Nature.

WWF Belgium is looking for a full-time Head of Individual Fundraising.
The function reports directly to the Public Engagement Director.
As Head of Individual Fundraising you will develop and implement the organization’s individual fundraising strategy (through face to face, DM channels, member support, CRM), maximizing efficiency and the return on investment. You will help the organization to achieve its fundraising targets.
Main responsibilities
- You deliver overall income fundraising target and you identify and analyze new potential income streams
- You develop and maintain an effective supporter journey for the development of relationships and retention of donors
- You develop and implement strategies to maximize fundraising effort for the organization and awareness of our activities, monitor the performance of fundraising campaigns/activities to reach its income target
- You develop an annual work plan for the department, produce cost-effective budgets to achieve action plans, KPI’s and targets
- You manage, support and motivate a team of four. This includes setting personal objectives, management of workload and performance
- You ensure the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities (CRM)
- You bring support to the team in the day-to-day work
- You work collaboratively together with other teams
