Profil
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience relevant to this position, preferably within an international NGO and with work experience in administering EU projects.
- Strong skills in financial management and administration. A track record of administrating EU funded projects and /or projects with multiple partners is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a small team, with respect for and sensitivity to multi-cultural approaches.
- Fluency in English; an additional European language (e.g. French) is an advantage
- Familiarity with standard word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and data base software, and with electronic communication technology.

Summary
This position is created to support the financial management and administration of an EU funded project that aims to address wildlife being traded illegally over the internet and transported by using postal or fast parcel services. WWF Belgium is the lead beneficiary of this project that will be implemented in close partnership with the Belgian Customs, INTERPOL, IFAW, other WWF offices in the EU and TRAFFIC.
Your role
Your role will be to ensure that the project is effectively administered and financially managed according to the EU´s rules and procedures, to ensure timely reporting, ensure a smooth communication and information exchange between all partners and assist the project manager and partners in day to day issues related to implementation of the project. You will work as part of a small team and collaborate closely with a dedicated project manager to ensure effective administration of this project.
