Profil
A graduate in a relevant discipline you will have extensive experience of working with the EU and other major institutional donors as well as an in depth understanding of donor funding policies and regulations. You must have good knowledge of the EC/EuropeAid/EU Delegations structures, decision making processes and compliance mechanisms too. You will possess excellent proposal development skills and sound understanding of logic models such as Logical Framework Analysis. You will have also worked in an NGO in an institutional funding, programme or policy related role. Self-motivated with strong communication skills you will be effective at mentoring, coaching and developing people. In addition you must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to develop, promote and practice our vision, mission, values and strategy.

Position: EU Partnership Manager
Location: Brussels
Duration: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) contract – 1st July 2015 to 31st March 2016

If you’ve extensive experience of working with major institutional donors particularly the EU as well as an in depth understanding of donor funding policies and regulations you could be part of the team at ActionAid International helping people use their own power to fight poverty and injustice.
As EU Partnership Manager you will play a key role in increasing institutional income from EU Development Aid and help ensure a coordinated approach to fundraising across our federation. This will require supporting countries to develop and implement engagement strategies, gaining an understanding of EU funding trends and priorities as well as helping prepare compelling global and country funding applications. You will assist with donor relationship management, encourage donor intelligence sharing across the Federation and act as our champion in donor networks. You will also develop contract management guidelines, training modules and deliver training to improve our performance and ensure staff are as effective as they can be.
