WWF Belgium has 100.000 members and is raising 8 million € per year from individuals, excluding legacies. Building of a large constituency is one of the top priorities of WWF in Belgium. The main channels of fundraising today are the face-to-face programs, the direct mail campaigns while digital fundraising is on the rise.
Summary
The Fundraising officer aims to increase the number of financial supporters at WWF by the acquisition of new donors onto the Face to Face channels (Door to Door, Street recruitment & instore). He or she will coordinate the F2F (external) partners and their actions on the field.
Main responsibilities
Coordinate and develop the F2F fundraising actions with the specialized partners
Examples of tasks:
• propose acquisition orientations
• develop new concepts and products, in line with the fundraising strategy, for your channels
• define the concept of the actions, the means and the necessary resources
• plan the actions and ask for approval to municipalities
• perform briefings & presentations to partners
• implement, monitor and adjust actions in collaboration with partners
• ensure that actions are carried out in accordance with the budgets initially defined
• ensure that the fundraising actions are relayed via our own communication channels
Monitor the results of the actions and adapt the plans to meet the financial objectives
Examples of tasks:
• define elements of analysis (indicators, tests, etc.)
• measures indicators and monitors results, identifies areas for improvement and adapts action plans
• presents the results
