Context

Driven by MSF’s goals, the OCB Supply chain’s mission is to enable humanitarian action and provide reliable supply chain solutions. It comprises several sites, in each mission on the field (projects and capital), with MSF Supply its European Supply Center in Brussels, and the Kenya Supply Unit its regional hub. The Supply Chain Department defines the global strategy of this supply chain, pilots its performance, and ensures that each site has the relevant support for its development. It comprises a Front Office team with the Supply Chain Officers, and Supply Technical Support and Innovation team, and a Procurement team.

According with LOG vision the Operational Logistics is a very specific and well-known force of MSF. Beyond the fulfilment of basic LOG needs, LOG is a solution-driven and innovative force that helps to build and realize operational projects.

In light of significant Operational growth projections, expected within 2-3 years, and progressive and increasing integration of new technologies and means adapted to our operations, MSF is looking to develop the new responses to Operational needs integrating innovation, adaptation and introduction of new technological capacity.

To keep pace with challenges of growth, complexity and with new operational responses to develop, the LOG community has decided to do it through a networking management model and develop strong collaboration links with other MSF teams and external partnerships with associative, industrial, commercial and academic actors.

Mission

Provide support to the Supply Chain and LOG Community to find solutions through market assessments, and then link with the relevant actors to operationalise these solutions from a Supply point of view.

Provide support to LOG Community / BO Log to seek solutions that are technically viable and can be purchased, that respond to the non-standard requirements expressed or anticipated upon request from the LOG Back Office, LOG Front Office and the MSF Belgium Emergency Pool. With the aim of increasing the ability to rapidly provide solutions to Operations, or with a view to innovation, determining which product best responds to requirements.

Ensure the link between Logistic and the Supply teams when the development of a new product is launched in order to ensure timely and flexible delivery fitting with the supply process and constraints.

Improve the communication field/HQ to ensure the correct selection of products according with the quality expected and parameters defined by operations.

Nature of the position

Due to the transversal tasks within both the Supply and Log functions, the role has a functional relation with LOG Back Office Coordinator. And it will link with the recently recruited LOG Innovation Officer to include this aspect in the Product Development.

Job Profile

Technology market monitoring based on a brief and with contextual elements provided by the requesters for all non-medical products for field use (e.g. construction, shelter, energy, telecommunications,…),

  • Challenge the request by formalizing FFFs (specifications) to ensure that it is possible to meet the requirement,
  • Proactively suggest new products to the technical referents,
  • Seek existing products on the market that respond to the request or are a close fit and can be adapted,
  • Organise the information according to the criteria established with the requesting technician, to compare the options and provide the result of the searches
  • Catalogue the solutions found in collaboration with the relevant technical referents.
  • Develop together with Back Officer Referents tools to improve the communication between field and HQ regarding products (Ex. Shelter catalogue)
  • Together with Global Purchase coordinator and the BO technical team define the requirements and formalise a technical validation procedure for local purchase to ensure a certain level of quality on LOG products (watsan, IT and BioMed excluded so far).

Innovation and product development cycle based on previous work done and more concretely with recent product development examples (MUST, MFH, GAPTEK,…)

  • Identify the Supply and LOG actors to include in the workflows, develop the relations with them and define steps necessary to improve the theoretical working method (the Log product life cycle and the Rasci)
  • On 2nd and 3rd   line product development, act as a focal point for the Supply and LOG relation to centralise, organise and redistribute information to ensure a smooth process.
  • Understand the objectives and technical criteria of a new innovation and product development project, be able to explain it to the Supply team and vice versa collect the supply inputs and constraints in relation to the same project in order to ensure supply and log activities are well synchronized
  • Adjusts and fine tune the Log product life cycle and RASCI between LOG and Supply according with the new experiences in agreement with BO Log Coordinator and Purchase Director

Context

The Supply Chain Department defines the global strategy of this supply chain, pilots its performance, and ensures that each site has the relevant support for its development.

Within the Department, and in each Operational Cells, there are Supply Chain Officers (SCOs) who report to the Front Office & Global Network coordinator. Each SCO designs the supply strategies and set-ups to answer the operational needs, taking into consideration the general supply policies and standards. They make sure resources and means tally with them (technical support, budget, field HR skills…). They supervise and report the performance of the supply chains. They are accountable over the current situation of her/his contexts and must proactively foresee the future challenges; in order to avoid supply becomes a bottleneck for operations.

Raison d’être

Reporting to the Front Office & Global Network Coordinator, the Supply Chain Operations Project Manager provides contextual consolidated analyses, proposes recommendations, and leads or supports the development of relevant projects and tools for the SCOs and SupplyCos (Supply Coordinators on mission), to achieve a coherent, performant and optimized network strategy across all our sites. He/she is functionally linked with the Strategic Planning & Project Management of the Supply department, referred to methodology and strategic planning & performance framework.

Job Profile

 

Supply chain strategy & performance

  • Works with SCOs to link the supply chain strategies of each context to ensure coherence, and identify potential synergies at regional or global level. Strategies makes reference to procurement, warehousing, demand planning, stocks, transport and customs, but also linking them to global objectives and priorities defined by the Supply Chain department and with the operational strategies for a particular context, positioning the supply as enabler of humanitarian action.
  • Leads tools development and its implementation to support contextual supply strategy definition and performance follow up directly managed by SCOs and SupplyCos
  • Works together with the relevant project managers, technical referents and field representatives, to develop the relevant data & performance indicators for the SCOs and SupplyCos (e.g. inventory or demand data, KPI’s, maturity or risk indicators…).
  • Leads the development and capitalization of tools addressed to SupplyCos by scenario in collaboration with technical referents, SCOs and field representatives.

MSF Intersection responsibilities and network development

  • Supports collaboration within MSF sections at field level for intersectional initiatives (mapping and methodology) – this linked with SEXi, supporting the SCOs and directly in the field if needed.
  • Leads projects related to development on networking within MSF Supply, SCOs and field supply chain.
  • Is the focal point in OCB section for the intersectional projects linked to his/her responsibilities on performance and network optimization.
  • Works with the department members to develop strategic relationships with companies and organizations which can support the improvement and enhancement our supply chain capacity.
  • Is in charge of monthly communication (internal within FO and external with MSF Supply, information manager and management team) related to FO.

Important remark : Due to the actual development of the Supply Department, key responsibilities of this role can evolve in the coming months, maintaining the raison d’etre.

En Belgique et dans le monde, nos projets se destinent à toutes les personnes qui n'ont pas ou plus d'accès aux soins de santé. L'ESSENTIEL

La mission « spécialistes » de MDM-B organise des consultations au sein de la Clinique Baron Lambert, pour améliorer et garantir l’accès aux soins de seconde ligne aux personnes en situation précaire. Dans le cadre de ce projet, MDM-B recherche des spécialistes en gastro-entérologie.

PRINCIPALES TACHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Assurer les permanences médicales prévues le jeudi
  • Donner ou prescrire les médicaments
  • Proposer/envoyer le patient faire des examens complémentaires selon l’urgence médicale et/ou son accès aux soins en concertation avec la référente médicale/équipe sociale du Caso.
  • Rédiger les lettres de références ou les attestations dont le patient a besoin
  • Encoder les données de la consultation dans le dossier patient informatisé
  • Donner un avis sur certains dossiers médicaux
  • Se coordonner avec les autres membres de l’équipe quand c’est nécessaire

DISPONIBILITE : une fois par mois le jeudi soir de 17h à 19h

Friends of the Earth Europe is looking for an experienced Communications Officer

Based in the Friends of the Earth Europe office in Brussels, full time, to start in September 2017.

This is a great opportunity to join the communications team in the European office of the world's largest grassroots environmental network and support campaigns on issues including climate and energy, corporate power, trade, food, biodiversity and resource use.

The job

It is a wide-ranging role profile with significant amounts of responsibility. The position consists of:

External communications strategy, planning and delivery

  • Lead on the development of communications strategies, narratives and activity plans in close collaboration with campaigners and colleagues in Brussels and in Friends of the Earth groups around the globe
  • Understand and advise campaigners on their communications needs and requirements
  • Coordinate communications plans between campaigns/teams
  • Project manage the production of communications tools and materials – including, but not limited to, reports and briefings, videos, graphics, cyber-actions, adverts, event and action materials – in coordination with member groups and partners
  • Draft, edit and proofread materials including reports, briefings, opinion articles, and letters
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming for campaign activities
  • Commission work from, and liaise with. designers, photographers, printers, and other suppliers
  • Undertake basic design work for use in publications and on the website
  • Maintain and develop FoEE's image library and support colleagues and member groups to access it
  • Ensure the adherence of communications materials with Friends of the Earth Europe's identity guidelines and agreed messaging, protocols and ways of working
  • Regularly evaluate communications activities and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Friends of the Earth Europe's long-term communications strategy

Media relations

  • Build relationships with Brussels-based journalists, understand their needs and interests, and advise colleagues on their media relations

Internal communications & network support

  • Contribute to the production and distribution and monitoring of Friends of the Earth Europe's newsletter and other internal communications
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an active network of communicators from member organisations
  • Work with the FoE International communications team and be part of FoE International communications processes
  • Contribute to capacity building for colleagues and member organisations, e.g. media interview skills, communications strategy and narrative, values and frames in communications, storytelling
  • Contribute to the writing, editing and proofreading of funding applications and reporting to funders

Events management & support

●      Contribute to creative brainstorming for street actions, media stunts and other events

●      Contribute to the planning and delivery of network events, e.g. the AGM, communicators meetings, etc.

●      Lead on the logistical preparation of some events, e.g. press conferences, media stunts, seminars, meetings, etc

Other tasks

  • Actively participate in team meetings and processes such as planning and budgeting
  • Support other team members and be able to stand in for them when necessary

Salary €2,518-€2,963 per month gross, plus benefits (13th month, lunch vouchers, pension scheme and comprehensive hospitalisation and travel insurances). Conditions are according to Belgian legislation including the legal ability to live and work in Belgium.

L’indispensable :

  • Vous possédez au maximum un Master.

Description

*    Dynamo International est une association créée en 2001, agréée ONG et service de l’aide à la jeunesse. Elle a pour objet social la coopération au développement concernant la thématique des droits de l'enfant et plus précisément dans les domaines concernant les enfants et les jeunes en situation de rue, l'éducation et le travail social de rue, le développement communautaire et la prévention de l'exclusion sociale, la protection de l'enfance et l'insertion socio-professionnelle.

Votre mission au sein de l’organisation sera multiple:

  •  Développer une stratégie et un plan de communication au niveau local (wallon et Bruxellois), national (Belge) et international
  •  Création et rédaction de matériel de communication pour les différents services (newsletters, flyers, fascicules, …)
  • Gestion des sites internet et autres outils de communication (facebook, … )
  •  Développer une stratégie de récolte de fonds privés (participation à la campagne CNCD 11 11 11, organisation d’activités, mobilisation de la base sociale, crowdfunding, …)

Contrat de remplacement à temps plein et prise de fonction à partir de septembre 2017 pour une durée de 12 mois.

Description

Context

 

Driven by MSF’s goals, the OCB Supply chain’s mission is to enable humanitarian action and provide reliable supply chain solutions. It comprises several sites, in each mission on the field (projects and capital), with MSF Supply its European Supply Center in Brussels, and the Kenya Supply Unit its regional hub. The Supply Chain Department defines the global strategy of this supply chain, pilots its performance, and ensures that each site has the relevant support for its development.

Currently, biomedical equipment is most often purchased through MSF Supply and sent to the field, under warranty and/or with a maintenance agreement. When the machines on the field need repairing a green light is provided by Logistic BioMed referents, and until now Logistics Department manages the return flow to the supplier. However, the aim is that the OCB Supply Chain now takes care of this return flow. To this aim the Supply Chain Department is hiring for 6 months a Biomedical After Sales Officer.

The Biomedical After Sales Officer ensures continuity of the use of medical equipment in the field by temporarily managing the return flow of equipment, and managing a project aiming at setting up a sustainable solution (e.g. process, procedures, tools, risk analyses) between sites, Headquarters, MSF Supply, and suppliers,. S/he will also contribute to the wider discussions on improvement of the management of BioMedical equipment management and life cycle.

The Biomedical After Sales Service Officer is part of the Supply Chain Department. S/he will be part of the BioMed platform together with the BioMed referent of the Medical department, the BioMed referent of the Logistics Department, and the Biomed technician in MSFSupply to ensure the coherence between the 3 entities in charge each one of different interlinked aspects.

Job Profile

  • Provide support and help desk specialized in medical equipment after sales service for the organisation and management of the return flow
    • In link with MSF Supply, develop/ maintain the database and share knowledge on supplier warranties and maintenance contracts
    • In link with the Logistic biomed referrents, provide support to organise on site repair from suppliers
    • If given green light, organise return flow from sites to supplier, and subsequently from suppliesr to site
  • Manage a project to define a sustainable set up for Medical equipment after sales service
    • As part of wider discussions, define pre-requesites before after sales service kicks in: e.g. user knowledge on use and maintenance of the equiment, criteria for equipment to be purchased with maintenance contracts, decision tree to repair or not and how…
    • Quantify the needs for the regional and international return flow
    • Organise workshops with the relevant people to propose a procedure for a sustainable management of the international return flow responding to the operational needs, whilst taking into account legal and technical constraints
    • Design the communication flows and define tools needed related to information sharing on warranties and maintenance contract at local regional and international levels

Description

Le CNCD-11.11.11 recherche un stagiaire pour la coordination du projet Olympiades 11.11.11 ainsi qu’un appui aux actions de récolte de fonds lors de l’Opération 11.11.11.

Objectif du stage

Nous recherchons un/e stagiaire prêt à prendre en charge le suivi des plusieurs tâches en lien :

  • Avec les Olympiades 11.11.11, projet d’ECM et de soutien de partenaires du Sud pour le 6-12 ans (voir www.cncd.be/olympiades)

-          Participation à la promotion du projet

-          Suivi des inscriptions

-          Communication vers les participants à différents moments du processus

-          Suivi du projet et accompagnement de son déroulement

  • Avec les diverses actions ayant lieu à l’occasion de l’Opération 11.11.11

-          Soutien à l’équipe du département Opération 11.11.11 dans l’organisation des actions de récolte de fonds (organisation d’évènements, soutien aux partenaires, démarches vers publics cibles, …)
