Required qualifications and experiences
- Studies in Human Resources
- Mandatory excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent IT skills, strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel,) are mandatory.
Personal characteristics/Interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, planning and administrative skills
- Responsible, driven, and able to work independently, with guidance from staff members
- Empathic and creative problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication,

Description
CONTEXT
The Human Resources Department of MSF OCB (Operational center of Brussels) is looking for an “HQ HR intern”
The ‘HR Intern’ for Headquarters (HQ) is part of the HQ HR team, whose mission is to link as a partner between the HR department and the other departments in HQ. The ‘HR intern’ is reporting to the “HQ HR Officer”
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the “HQ HR Officer” you will support the HQ HR team :
- Support day-to-day activities:
- Support the management of organizational changes and their impact at the administrative level: creation and changes of positions and functions and facilitate internal movements in alignment with HR strategy and policies
- Monitor the induction and onboarding process to ensure proper adherence and smooth integration of new employees
- Perform periodic reporting and analysis of HQ indicators, developing qualitative interpretations to identify potential optimizations and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR strategies.
- Provide support to the HQ HR team in various day to day activities such as, but not limited to conducting exit interviews, follow up management of absences, follow up well-being initiatives…
- Work on specific HR Projects: HQ Career Management – New ways of working....
- Analyze the current situation and identify key challenges.
- Brainstorm solutions by involving necessary stakeholders (internal and external).
- Develop and propose concrete solutions based on your analysis.
- Assist in the writing and implementation of the chosen solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall HR strategy.

CONDITIONS
- 3-5 months internship (unpaid) - Full time - internship with school convention -necessity to be present in the Brussels Office
- Reimbursement (100%) of public transport costs for the travels home - office
